Starting from the constant waste of food in Belgium, especially in restaurants, it was a question of drawing inspiration from a concept coming from overseas which is the “doggy bag”. The “doggy bag” refers to the packaging in which the customer of a restaurant can take away the remains of his meal. This practice is quite common in restaurants, especially Italian and Asian, which combine on-site consumption and take-away.
As a starting point, the idea was to create a simple brand image, inspired by the world of recycling as the color of recycled paper, but at the same time a contemporary graphic design on a white background to give a more hygienic effect To consumption), since they are meal remnants. The principle was to propose to the restorers in the form of a monthly subscription all the packaging necessary to promote the concept. In addition, they were listed in a website that groups all restaurateurs who are against food waste.
The project is awaiting completion in order to find a large number of collaborators willing to participate against food wastage in restaurants.
